Justin Henshaw

Justin holds a CIPD Level 5 certification,  in Human Resources Strategic People Management. He is also a Certified Mediator with the MII as well as more recently qualifying in Restorative Justice / Facilitation Practice. This really gives him a unique perspective when it comes to everything that is in & surrounding HR. He is well versed with & understands the importance of the engagement of Union Representation as well as preparing for & representing cases for the Workplace Relations Commission or WRC. People are his passion, however, let’s not forget he has held senior leadership positions too, & this is where Justin, Raquel & Clara differ from others. Everything is a topic when we cover & consider, design materials & programs. It is all relatable to people, but to the business aspects too. Understanding how everything can be measured for impact & embedment.5Breathing everything that is sales with customer & colleague experience at heart, he’s also used to those ‘pressure cooker’ moments when difficult decisions have to be made. Just because they are difficult doesn’t mean they have to be carried out without empathy & compassion.

Raquel Hanley

Raquel has over 16 year’s practical hands-on experience working in Learning and Development. Raquel started her career designing and delivering training for Xtravision back in the late 1990s where she focused her skills on the retail sales teams, delivering across the north and south of Ireland. From there she moved into Meteor mobile and became the Commercial training manager, it was here she honed her skills working across a diverse organisation with many functions. Her passion for ‘making a difference’ really shone through as she rolled out many engaging and energising initiatives, such as the first mentoring programme, certified FETAC sales programmes, management development programmes and a highly successful ‘leadership challenge’. Working cross functionally Raquel supported not only Head office but also had responsibility for Retail, Business Sales, finance, Networks and IT. Raquel was also responsible for the training and development which happened within Meteors own contact centre and that of its outsourced partner ‘Rigney Dolphin’. From designing and rolling out a vendor certified programme to delivering induction within the contact centre and supporting the training interventions for all go to market projects and launches. It was during her 6.5 years in Meteor that Raquel first undertook a lead role in a major change project. Eircom had purchased Meteor which brought about one of the largest change programmes delivered in telecoms. From the roll out of new vision and values to the training and development of employee who transitioned out of the business Raquel played a major part in the success of the programme. As a direct result of the buyout Raquel took the lead in the roll out of the eMobile brand from a learning and development perspective and with that, she also took the lead in the successful implementation of a new billing system which was launched companywide to a total of 7000 people. With a successful track record in design, delivery and management of an L&D function, Raquel took her skills to Ladbrokes. Taking up sole responsibility for the development of 1400 employees across Ireland and working closely to support the UK. It was here that Raquel really made a difference. Designing and delivering a level 6 HETAC certified programme in partnership with Dublin Institute of technology. Raquel successfully rolled out an academically certified programme to marketplace managers across Ladbrokes Ireland, participants ranging from 18-60 years of age. Raquel stayed on this theme as the telecoms industry called her back and she returned as Head of Learning and development with three Ireland. Building on her previous success Raquel rolled out a successful Retail Academy, preparing sales consultants for a career in the organisation with robust on boarding to certified management development programmes.  She transferred this to the contact centre supporting the training given to agents in Tech Mahindra in Mumbai to the new Three contact centre in Limerick and other supporting centres in Waterford and Belfast. From technical training to soft skills Raquel designs along with supporting a team of L&D specialists to ensure that learning is at the heart of all they do. More recently Raquel design and launched a Degree in Customer Service and Contact centre management, this is currently being run in Limerick. Along with all of this Raquel has a passion for Leadership, her ‘Leadership Challenge’ programme is highly rated, and her delivery of EQ vs IQ leaves you really evaluating your own self-awareness. As an MBTI level 1 & 2 practitioners Raquel has a keen interest in the psychology of organisations and that of people and this comes through in her delivery style and has helped when rolling out team integration sessions. Having worked as part of the HR function Raquel graduated from Leicester University with an MSc in Human Resource Management and Development along with her certification in training and ROI, she has numerous academic and practical accreditations under her belt. Throughout her extensive career Raquel has always remained true to her value of “making a difference” providing employees from every function and at every level the development opportunities to be the best they can be both personally and professionally.

Clara Martin

I am a Learning & Development Specialist at Clifford Learning. I have been involved in the design & delivery of training solutions & interventions for over 10 years, my experience is with Sales & Service, working with Retail Employees & Customer Service Agents, delivering a wide variety of development, from products & services to more complex management development programmes. I have worked with brands such as 3 Ireland, Irish Distillers, Dunnes Stores, Currency Fair, Glanbia to name but a few. While in Three I delivered contact centre training programmes within the Dublin & Limerick centres. I was heavily involved in the amalgamation of O2 & Three, cross training & up-skilling employees form all areas of the business.I am no stranger to customer service as I managed the highest grossing shop on Grafton Street & Henry St in Dublin. I have experienced service from both sides & bring this knowledge & experience to every project.I ensure content is quality checked prior to being released & ensure reporting for clients are complete on time & in a format, they wish to receive it in.
